Child, Family and Pet Portraiture

I will tailor your photographic session to suit you. I will carry out a pre-photographic session consultation (in person or by telephone) to ensure that I fully understand what style of images you want. Once I understand your wishes, I can then advise you what sort of clothing would suit what you've chosen, and I'll talk you through what to expect during the photographic session.

I will then meet you as arranged for the photographic session, which is always fun, enjoyable and entertaining.  I have a relaxed yet energetic manner which will set you at ease, and allow me to capture you at your best.  Whatever the commission, I will adapt my skills to encapsulate those treasured memories, be them the tender, intimate  moments of proud parents and their newborn baby, or high-energy lifestyle moments at a family event with a toddler who cannot sit still! 

Child and Family Portraits
Everyone has a different idea about what makes a good portrait, so I will work with you to provide the style of photograph you want. I can work at your home or on location. I can use a professional backdrop or a more natural setting. Prints can be full colour, black and white or toned, printed on canvas or acrylic, in a portfolio book or framed. 

Pet Portraits
You may want to include your pet(s) in a family portrait or have them photographed on their own. Like kids they can be uncooperative when it comes to posing. I am very patient and experienced in catching the right moment and if necessary I can combine different images on computer to get the best results.

Portrait Session Prices
Portrait sessions start at £75 for up to two hours. There is no limit to the number of shots taken or subjects photographed, so you can get poses of the whole family, both individually and together, and the dog or cat as well.  If you need a variety of settings or locations - eg for a portfolio, please call me for a quotation.
